The winners of the 2025 Victorian School Design Awards have been revealed, honouring the state’s most innovative and inspiring education environments. The annual program celebrates the Victorian Government’s commitment to delivering world-class learning spaces that support student growth, wellbeing, and community connection.
This year’s awards attracted a record number of entries, spanning government school projects, early childhood facilities, and First Nations design.
We’re thrilled to share that our Northcote High School project was awarded:
Best School Project – Above $15 Million, with design led by Kerstin Thompson Architects.
The Northcote High School redevelopment stood out for its thoughtful integration of contemporary learning environments, adaptable spaces, and community-focused outcomes, demonstrating a benchmark for future educational design across the state.
Victorian Minister for Children, Lizzie Blandthorn, commended this year’s recipients, stating:
“These outstanding designs show how we’re creating inspiring spaces where every Victorian child can thrive from the very start.”
The recognition highlights the collective commitment of school communities, designers, and delivery partners to shaping environments that empower teaching, enhance student engagement, and reflect the diverse needs of Victorian learners.
We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this exceptional project to life and extend our congratulations to all finalists and winners celebrated at this year’s event.
