Safety First

Safety is a critical priority for us at Building Engineering. Our meticulous internal policies provide a framework of safe operating practices, procedures, instructions and statements to achieve a consistent, reliable, safe working platform for staff and subcontractors.

Every project is unique and we offer each project a tailored site-specific management plan, refined by our internal OH&S Officer and systematically monitored through our Integrated Management System (lMS). At the commencement of every project, our Project Manager, Site Manager, and OH&S Officer tailor a formal site induction plan that includes a requirement for all subcontractors to undergo stringent pre-qualification interviews. We demand that all our sites operate to the highest industry standards.

We continually examine new ways to improve. Whether that is taking the initiative to achieve Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) accreditation, or pioneering an online management platform, we think ahead and invest accordingly.

Our safety record is impeccable. Every Building Engineering site undergoes a monthly independent safety audit by Solve Safety. Building Engineering has never recorded a breach of OH&S legislation.

Formed from the commercial construction company Building Engineering, Streetscape delivers new build, refurbishment, and fit out projects across the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

Streetscape specialises in small works projects in the commercial property sector and insurance rectification works. Project values range from $5,000 to $5,000,000.

Streetscape operates independently but can call upon the financial capacity and procurement strength of Building Engineering and is backed with the expertise and resources of the business including shared OH&S, IT, accounting, contract administration, and design and services management.

Streetscape’s dedicated small works professionals offer end-to-end solutions for project types including office, health and science, technology, and education environments.

Streetscape is agile and responsive to client needs whilst offering certainty when it comes to safety, affordability, and client and tenant engagement.

Offering complete TurnKey solutions or managing contractor services, Streetscape’s small works services include fit out; make good; base building refurbishments, tenancy reconfigurations and modifications; and common area (break outs, kitchens, meeting and client spaces) alterations.
