Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property

The 500 Women in Property program is an initiative of the Property Council’s Diversity Committees throughout Australia and is a sponsorship program. It involves a personal commitment from Property Council Members (women and men) to identify and champion women in their organisation or business sphere, who they believe would benefit from further networking and professional development opportunities.

This year, and as we celebrate International Women’s Day today, we would like to congratulate our four nominees who have been selected to participate in the program. Building Engineering is represented by Amani Eljari (Contract Administrator), Stephanie Simos (Estimator), Ivy Chui (Contract Administrator), and Arzu Mulayim (Design Manager).

All four nominees are being supported by Building Engineering’s Business and Relationship Manager David Hunter. David is a sponsor for our four nominees and will be advocating for our team members in the workplace, championing their skills and success, and helping to build their network and profile.

We sat down with our team to discuss what motivated them to be a part of this program.

Amani: “I am thrilled to have been included in this year’s program. I look forward to expanding my network and learning new skills.”

Stephanie: “I am excited to be involved in a program that is passionate about promoting diversity and creating an inclusive environment for women.”

Ivy: “This program offers a number of professional development opportunities which will assist in advancing my career.”

Arzu: “I am excited to network with like-minded professionals and advocate the acceleration of women into leadership positions in the industry.”

Our team would like to congratulate all four nominees on being selected to participate in this highly sought-after initiative.

Building Engineering’s Directors Tom Basel, Chris Doufas and the wider leadership team look forward to supporting you in achieving great results from this year’s program.
