Refurbishment of the ground floor arcade of the heritage-listed Capitol House, as well as restoration of the Swanston Street façade including atrium, foyer and canopy. Completing the works required detailed planning, with consideration of the multiple tenants and building residents needing continuous access. The majority of the works were completed outside of normal trading hours, using a vacant tenancy as both a site office and storage area to significantly reduce the impact on traders and residents and eliminate the need for multiple staging.
