Building Engineering celebrates student achievement at the 2025 RMIT University Awards Night

Building Engineering was proud to continue its long-standing support of the RMIT University School of Property, Construction, and Project Management Industry and Research Awards, held once again at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

This year marked a special moment for our business, as several members of our own team, Stephen Doufas, Thomas Wilcox, and Stephen Triantafillopoulos, are currently studying at RMIT University and attended the ceremony as part of their ongoing professional development.

Our Construction Manager, Will Devlin, represented Building Engineering on stage to present the sponsored award for Best Poster Related to Safety in Construction Projects. The 2025 recipient, Adam Mirecki, impressed the judging panel with his thoughtful and practical approach to safety innovation, earning well-deserved recognition for his work.

A highlight of the evening was celebrating the success of our own Stephen Triantafillopoulos, who received a Certificate of Achievement for his consistent high grades, commitment to working to his strengths, and dedication to continual personal growth. We would like to commend Stephen’s accomplishment and the professionalism he brings to both his studies and his role at Building Engineering.

Our continued involvement in the RMIT Awards reflects our commitment to supporting emerging talent, fostering strong industry partnerships, and championing the next generation of construction professionals.
