Building Engineering Earns 2026 Great Place To Work Certification™

Building Engineering is proud to announce it has been officially Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for 2026, recognising the company’s continued commitment to creating a supportive, safe and high-performing workplace for its people.

The prestigious certification is based entirely on employee feedback about their experience working at Building Engineering. In this year’s survey, 95% of employees said Building Engineering is a great place to work, reflecting the strong culture that exists across the organisation.

The results also highlighted the team’s confidence in the workplace environment, with 96% of employees saying Building Engineering is a physically safe place to work, and 95% saying they are proud to tell others they work for Building Engineering.

Great Place To Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership behaviours proven to deliver strong organisational performance, employee retention and innovation. Certification™ is awarded solely on real-time employee feedback.

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work®, said the recognition reflects a genuine commitment to people and culture.

“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience. Certification is the sole official recognition based on the real-time feedback of employees regarding their company culture.”

Building Engineering’s General Manager, David Waters, said the certification is particularly meaningful because it comes directly from our team’s voices.

“This recognition is incredibly rewarding because it reflects how our people genuinely feel about working at Building Engineering,” David said.

“We’ve worked hard to create a workplace where people feel safe, supported and valued, and where they can build rewarding careers. Knowing our team is proud to say they work for Building Engineering is something we are extremely proud of, as we continue to invest in our people and our culture.”

The certification reinforces Building Engineering’s ongoing focus on maintaining a workplace where employees feel connected, supported and empowered to do their best work while delivering outstanding outcomes for clients and communities.
