Building Engineering honours emerging talent at RMIT University awards night

Building Engineering proudly upheld its tradition of recognising academic excellence and fostering future industry leaders at this year’s RMIT University School of Property, Construction, and Project Management Industry and Research Awards. The event, held at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), saw Building Engineering playing a significant role by sponsoring an award that celebrates outstanding achievements in the construction field.

David Waters, Building Engineering’s Commercial Manager, took to the stage to present the award for “Best Poster Related to Safety in Construction Projects.” Demika Sookanathan, the well-deserving recipient, demonstrated innovation and dedication in her project, earning this prestigious recognition.

Building Engineering’s involvement in the awards reflects its enduring partnership with RMIT University and its commitment to supporting the next generation of construction professionals.
