Building Engineering raises over $10K at Tour de PIF to support homeless youth
Last Friday, our team proudly took part in the Property Industry Foundation’s annual Tour de PIF in Healesville, and what a day it was. With perfect weather, an energised crowd, and riders representing organisations from across the property sector, the event once again highlighted the industry’s shared commitment to giving back.
This year’s event brought together senior leaders and enthusiastic cyclists alike, all riding towards one meaningful goal: supporting homeless youth through the Property Industry Foundation’s Haven Project. Every kilometre pedalled helps fund the creation of safe, stable bedrooms for young people who need them most, contributing to the statewide target of $200,000.
Team Building Engineering showed up in full force, combining strong legs and even stronger purpose. Thanks to the dedication of our riders and the generosity of our business and supporters, we’re proud to share that our team raised over $10,000, a fantastic achievement that directly supports the Haven Project’s work in building brighter futures.
Earlier this month, Building Engineering pledged $1,000 per rider, signalling our commitment to making a tangible difference. As Director Chris Doufas shared:
“By pledging $1,000 per rider, we’re sending a message that every kilometre counts and every dollar raised directly helps change lives. It’s our way of going all in for a cause we genuinely believe in.”
This pledge alone contributed $7,000, with the team’s fundraising efforts pushing our total beyond the $10K mark.
Tour de PIF isn’t only about the challenge, it’s about connection, community, and collective impact. Our riders embraced the day with enthusiasm, plenty of laughs, and a shared purpose that extended well beyond the finish line. The event reinforced what makes this industry special: collaboration, care, and a drive to support those who need it most.
We’re incredibly proud of our team for leading from the front and championing a cause that aligns so strongly with our values. A huge thank you to everyone who rode, donated, cheered, or supported behind the scenes.
