Construction begins at Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park

A new milestone has officially been marked for one of Building Engineering’s most exciting new regional projects — the Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park.

In a video released to celebrate the start of construction, Senior Project Manager William Boothey steps onto site to signal the start of construction and introduce the vision behind the transformative upgrade.

“As part of the Victorian Government’s Regional Sports Infrastructure Program, we’re proud to be delivering key upgrades — including a brand-new pavilion, upgraded pitches with lighting, and increased visitor capacity,” William shares.

Delivered in partnership with Development Victoria on behalf of Sport and Recreation Victoria, the project has been developed in close collaboration with Latrobe City Council to ensure the new and improved venue caters to the local community and delivers positive outcomes for the region.

This venue is a major hub for elite sport and live entertainment, and these works will help ensure it continues to attract major events and boost the local economy for years to come.

“We’re excited to get underway and bring this vision to life for the Gippsland community,” William says.

Stay tuned as we bring this vibrant regional project to life!
