Structural milestone achieved at 318 Little Collins Street
Building Engineering has reached an exciting milestone at our 318 Little Collins Street project in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, with the successful installation of the new rooftop steel structure.
Undertaken during a carefully coordinated Saturday morning road closure of Little Collins Street, the lift marks the completion of a significant structural phase of the project and paves the way for the next stages of construction.
Project Manager Chris Morrison was on-site to oversee the works and celebrate the achievement alongside the broader project team. With the structure now nearing completion, attention will shift towards the façade installation and internal fit-out works, bringing the project another step closer to completion.
Located within Melbourne’s busy CBD, the project continues to showcase the team’s expertise in delivering complex construction works within a constrained urban environment. Careful planning, stakeholder coordination and detailed logistics management have been critical to safely executing major construction activities while minimising disruption to surrounding businesses and the public.
With the structural works now largely complete, the project team is turning its focus towards the façade installation and internal fit-out, bringing the vision for this unique development one step closer to reality.
Building Engineering is proud to be working alongside Tango Projects and AOA Christopher Peck to deliver this exciting transformation at 318 Little Collins Street.
