Building Engineering celebrates excellence at RMIT University awards night

At the recently held RMIT University School of Property, Construction, and Project Management Industry and Research Awards night, Building Engineering proudly continued its annual commitment to fostering talent and recognising academic excellence. The event, which took place at Marvel Stadium saw Building Engineering play a key role by sponsoring an award dedicated to outstanding achievements in the field of construction.

As part of Building Engineering’s long-standing partnership with RMIT University, Building Engineering’s Design Manager, Arzu Mulayim, took to the stage to present the award for the “Best Poster related to Safety in Construction Projects.” The deserving recipient was Daniel Dakdouk, a student who exhibited exceptional dedication and innovation in his poster design.

Building Engineering had yet another reason to celebrate with their very own Lauren Grech, a current Cadet being awarded the highest GPA Award in 2022 for her third year of Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Project Management at RMIT University.

Lauren’s academic prowess and dedication to her studies were duly recognised during the awards night, and Building Engineering couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments. The company sees Lauren’s award as a testament to the high calibre of talent it nurtures and the quality of education that RMIT University offers.

Lauren is now set to continue her professional career in construction and has recently been accepted into Building Engineering’s Graduate Program. She will undoubtedly make significant contributions to the field of project management in the construction industry.

With anticipation and excitement, Building Engineering eagerly awaits the progress of Lauren Grech’s career and the continued success of future students in the construction industry.

The award ceremony served as a testament to Building Engineering’s unwavering commitment to supporting and nurturing the next generation of construction industry professionals.

Building Engineering looks forward to another year of fostering excellence and celebrating the achievements of future construction leaders.
