Building up at St Aloysius Senior Years Campus

The structure is rising fast at St Aloysius College’s new Senior Years Campus in North Melbourne, with our team achieving a major milestone, the completion of the Level 2 slab pour.

Located on a tight urban site, this project demands precision coordination and planning every step of the way. “Working on a restricted site like this is challenging, with limited access and logistics to manage daily, but our team is keeping everything moving safely and efficiently,” says Dario Pugliese, Site Manager at Building Engineering.

Next, our team will install the Level 2 precast panels and columns before moving straight into the Level 3 slab pour, continuing to build up toward the seventh and final level of this impressive new facility.

Once complete, the modern standalone campus will feature a welcoming foyer, collaborative learning spaces, a vibrant student hub, state-of-the-art science classrooms, staff areas, and a rooftop terrace, all designed to create a flexible and inspiring environment for senior students.

Building Engineering is proud to be partnering with SEMZ, Hayball, and WGA to deliver this future-focused VCE centre to life for the St Aloysius College community.
