Spencer Street Cladding Replacement

Scope of works included the demolition and removal of existing external cladding, sarking, and insulation material and replacement with non-combustible Vitraduel solid aluminium panel cladding, sarking, and insulation.

Cladding removal activities were required on the East, West North and South Elevations of the 38 level apartment and hotel building in Melbourne’s CBD.

Access to works was internally from the balcony of each apartment. Additionally some replacement work required swing stage scaffolds and also abseiling rope access.

The project required a very high level of coordination with occupants, the Owners Corporation and Cladding Safe Victoria
