A milestone moment at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School
Building Engineering recently joined Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS) and project partners to mark a special milestone in the Stage 1 redevelopment of the Junior Boys Campus in Essendon.
The ceremony celebrated the project’s progress and recognised the collaborative effort bringing the next chapter of the Junior Boys Campus to life.
Construction is progressing strongly, with the structure now reaching the top level and works currently tracking ahead of programme.
Once complete, the new three-storey facility will provide a range of contemporary learning environments designed to support students and staff, including general and specialist classrooms, collaboration and breakout spaces, staff facilities, library spaces and a rooftop terrace.
A key part of the project is refurbishing and integrating the campus’ existing heritage-listed Administration Building. The works will carefully bring together the Junior Boys Campus’ history and character with its new learning facilities.
Reaching this stage is an exciting milestone for our project team and a great opportunity to reflect on the progress achieved to date.
Building Engineering is proud to work closely with Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School and McBride Charles Ryan to deliver this significant redevelopment, and looks forward to seeing the next stage of the Junior Boys Campus continue to take shape.
