This project delivered Stage One of the new performing arts centre, assisted in part with $500,000 through the State Government of Victoria’s School Improvement Fund.
Stage One included a 304 seat state-of-the-art theatre, large foyer with an impressive boat sculpture, change rooms for performers, public rest rooms and student facilities, a kiosk, a box office, coat room and a green room.
Construction elements included main ground slab, piling to strip footings, precast concrete panels, core filled split face blockwork, steel framing, Colorbond metal cladding with feature powder coat colour finishes.
The theatre was officially opened on Friday June 9th 2017 by Minister Wade Noonan and Principal Gino Catalano in a celebration with past and present school community members.
