Six Degrees Architects

The upgrading of the main foyer to the multi-level residential facility in Fitzroy was delivered over a 9 month period in a delicate operation whilst accommodating the fully occupied facility. Originally built in the 1960’s, the aged and tired foyer has been transformed into a modern and appealing environment with stained glass windows, feature timber panelled ceilings and bulkheads, bluestone, granite and travertine tiling, slimline stainless steel windows, modern security vestibule, disabled toilet facility, revamped mail boxes and cleaner’s room, and increased public area around the lifts. Landscaping, paving and a feature stained glass light box further enhances the external ambience to the foyer.
